Homemade Loaded Mac' N' Cheese

Homemade Loaded Mac' N' Cheese 


4 mushrooms Chopped 
1/2 yellow Onion
3 C Macaroni Noodles 
1/2 C Lowfat Sour Cream 
1 C Milk (Preferably 2%, Whole or Heavy Cream) 
4 Slices of Bacon 
4 Leaves of fresh basil 
1 Oz Feta Cheese 
Garlic Cloves (2 cloves or 3 TBS granulated) 
Salt and Pepper to taste 
Chives 


1. Sautee the mushrooms and onion in a pan with 2 TBS olive oil. 

2. Tuen oven on to 425 degrees. Place bacon on a baking sheet and put into the oven for 12-15 minutes. 

3.  Boil the macaroni noodles for about 10 minutes or until they are ready. 

4. Turn the heat down to low in the pan that has has the mushrooms and onion. Then add the sour cream, milk and feta. 

5. Add salt, pepper and Garlic to taste. 

6. Pull out the bacon and cut up 4 pieces and throw it in with the sauce. 

7. Drain the noodles, put in bowls with sauce on top and add chives! 



***Note: If you would like to have an awesome thicker sauce then you can take 3-4 TBS unbleached flour in a cup or jar add about the same amount in water to where it looks like milk. Then slowly pour it into the sauce and stir until the sauce thickens. It should take about 2-3 minutes. ***



VOILA! MAC 'N' CHEESE!
