Homemade "I don't know what to make!" Recipe

Do you ever get to that point when you getting down to the last little bit of food in the fridge and pantry, and you say, "I don't know what to make!"

Pasta with Brown Butter

Serves 3
(Cut recipe in half and serves 1-2)

-1 lb Wheat Spaghetti Noodles
-1/2 C Unsalted Butter
-1 Large Garlic Clove
-Salt and Pepper to taste
-Peas (Fresh or canned)

1. Fill a large pot of water half way full with water and bring water to a boil. Add about 2 TBS Olive Oil then throw in the spaghetti noodles.

2. Mince the garlic and let it sit for a few minutes.

3. Take the butter and melt it between low and medium heat while constantly stirring it. Once it stats getting a light brown, add the minced garlic. The garlic itself will start to brown. Once it has browned then take the butter off the burned. (Burned butter is not tasty)

4. Drain the noodles if they are done and put them back in the pot.

5. Add the butter/garlic and stir

6. Now you can add the peas  OR you can cook them and leave them on the side of the plate.

7. If you have any left over cheese. Grate some and throw it in!

Substitutes you can use:
Spaghetti noodles - Use any noodles or gluten free noodles
Peas-Use any vegetable you'd like
Salted butter-Unsalted butter

***I like to use unsalted butter because I can manage salt intake by how much I like and if I have guests they can add as much salt as they would like. ***
